Disney's "Frozen" first official teaser and promotional photos

         The Walt Disney Company has finally released it’s first true promotion for the highly anticipated upcoming film, “Frozen”. Concept art from the movie has been released before but never anything that truly confirmed the look and feel of the movie. The new trailer features a clumsy snowman and very dog like Reindeer fighting over the Snowman's carrot nose. The Snowman accidentally loses his nose in one of his clumsy antics and the reindeer just see it as food, not realizing that it is the Snowman's nose. Silly antics ensue for the entire minute and fifty-one seconds of the trailer. The trailer is meant to be funny and does not actually show any of the main characters, Anna, Elsa or Kristoff. This is a very unusual trailer for the Walt Disney Company, their heavy focus on the humor as opposed to the beauty and interact plot of their film. The trailer is very reminiscent of the many trailers Blue Sky Studios has released for their Ice Age franchise. The shenanigans and trouble the snow man is put through to get his nose back is almost exactly like the way Blue Sky features their character Skrat, trying to get the acorn whilst running through a precarious situation. Many long-time and loyal Disney fans are very disappointed in the teaser trailer for this reason. It is a highly anticipated movie and one that has been anticipated for a long, long time and after all that waiting, to see two side characters bubbling around over something silly feels like a slap in the face to some fans. This is only a teaser however and there is still very much hope especially with the recently released official stills for the movie which are absolutely gorgeous and have appeased some of the fans who were upset with the trailer. The new stills show all three of the main characters. In stunning high resolution, there is still a lot to learn about this movie in the months to come before it’s November release, but it is sure to be a wonderful and classic film just like the many other films the Walt Disney Company has released.
